A Nolan County Grand Jury indicted 13 people this past week. Nine of those indictments were sealed. The following cases were true-billed:
Benito Cuellar was indicted for family violence assault, a third degree felony. According to court documents, Cuellar struck his victim on the leg with a battery on June 16, 2013. He was also convicted of an offense against a member of his family on July 31, 2003 in the Fisher County Court at Law. His bond was set at $15,000.
Jonathan Neil Houston was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, namely cocaine, a state jail felony. Court documents state that Houston possessed less than one gram of the controlled substance on Oct. 30, 2012. His bond was set at $5,000.
Erika Marie Alvarado aka Erika Marie Woods was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony for an offense that occurred on March 21, 2013. Court documents state that she was convicted of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age on Feb. 3, 2005 in the 119th District Court of Runnels County and on Jan. 23, 2002 in the County Court of Runnels County for driving while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $5,000.
Angel Diaz was indicted for evading arrest with a vehicle on June 6, 2013, a third degree felony. His bond was set at $7,500.
