Family Dollar in Sweetwater is currently going through some major changes inside the store and customers will get to see the finished product this weekend during the store's Customer Appreciation Weekend.
The store, located at 504 E. Broadway, will have a grand opening on Saturday, April 2, with a sidewalk and parking lot sale featuring many clearance items. Also on Saturday, KXOX Radio will be present for a live broadcast. The first 50 customers to enter the store on Saturday will receive a $5 gift card and the first 200 customers will receive a free drawstring backpack filled with a T-shirt and water bottle.
The new store already features a new sign outside and inside will have 500 new items, including clothes and shoes. The store will also have extended hours until 10 p.m. during Customer Appreciation Weekend. The entire layout of the store will be different with signs and a new overall look.
