The Highland girls basketball team's magnificent season came to an end Friday when the Lady Hornets lost to No. 1-ranked Saltillo, 41-19, in the semifinals of the state tournament held in Austin. Highland, with players like Hannah Allen (pictured here in Friday's game), finished the season with a 31-5 record while advancing to the state tournament for the first time in history.
