Green pleads guilty

A trial was set on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, for Michael Dwayne Green, when he entered a plea of guilty instead. Green was charged with continuous violence against the family, a third degree felony. For his plea, Green received 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for 10 years. He will also have to pay a $500 fine, $309 in court costs and $500 in attorney's fees. He will also have to serve 160 hours of community service and must attend and successfully complete the Male Batterers Intervention Program. He also had to serve 90 days of up-front jail time in the Nolan County Jail. Green was charged twice for two dates of offense being Oct. 18, 2011 and Jan. 8, 2011. He received the same sentence for both offenses, with his sentence to run concurrently.

Probabtion judge let em go again. Now he can go back and beat up the family again. Don't send anyone to jail. Do your crime in Sweetwater and don't do the time.
