Hastings has announced the closing of its 1102 East Broadway location in Swetwater on Aug. 20, 2011.

AMARILLO, Texas, — Hastings Entertainment, Inc., a leading multimedia entertainment retailer with 145 stores in 20 states has announced the closing of its 1102 East Broadway location on Aug. 20, 2011. The store will be conducting a going out of business sale through Aug. 20, 2011.
The Sweetwater, Texas location is closing due to store operating profit being less than that required by management. This location employs approximately 35 full and part-time associates. All gift cards can be redeemed at www.gohastings.com.
