Region 14 Education Service Center Head Start announces that its â€śAnnual Report to the Publicâ€ť for 2009-2010 is available for viewing. This report is part of the federal standards for providing an annual report each year for school districts, parents, community members and any other interested agencies.
This report includes data on children served, curriculum, funding information, results from the 2010 Federal review and governance.
There are two ways that the report can be viewed. Hard copies have been distributed to each of the 11 school districts served by Region 14 ESC Head Start. They will be located at each administratorâ€™s office, as well as with the Family Service Worker on that campus.
The other way to view the report is through the Region 14 Education Service Centerâ€™s web-site. Once logged in to www.esc14.net, follow the links to the â€śCenter for Young Learners,â€ť then â€śHead Start.â€ť Click on the link to â€śAnnual Report to the Public.â€ť
Region 14 ESC is the grantee for Head Start programs in the following school districts: Albany, Anson, Breckenridge, Colorado City, Hamlin, Haskell, Moran, Rotan, Stamford, Sweetwater and Merkel. Sweetwater ISD also includes an Early Head Start program. A home-based program is available for children in the Rule and Rochester area.
