Highland holds first of three meets this month

Highland was the host school Friday for its annual Hilltop Relays, which served as a tuneup for the district and area track meets it will host later this month start-ing with district Thursday.
Highland’s girls were second in the team standings with 76 points while Blackwell had eight. Black-well’s boys were fourth in their division with 62 points and Highland 11th (22). Individual points follow:

Sweetwater begins district track today
Sweetwater goes to Big Spring today for the start of the District 4-3A track meet. The two-day event is set to wrap up on Thursday, also in Big Spring.
Blackwell’s golf teams are scheduled to play their final district rounds today in Abilene, and Roscoe’s junior high teams host their district track meet today.
As stated in the top story, Sweetwater’s golf teams will wrap up district this week, while Sweetwater’s middle school track teams held their district meet in Snyder on Saturday. Blackwell’s junior high teams host their district meet Tuesday. On Thursday, Highland hosts its district track meet, with Roscoe also entered, while Blackwell has its district meet at Robert Lee.
