If you have not received your flu vaccine this season, the Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department encourages you to do so. It’s not too late to get the flu vaccine. The SNCHD is administering the flu vaccine during regular immunization clinic every Wednesday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. and the second Wednesday of each month until 6 p.m. The cost is $20 for adults, Medicare is accepted, $6 per child and the health department accepts Medicaid and CHIPS. Immunization clinic is cancelled on Wednesday, Jan 25, due to immunization staff being out of town for training. For more information regarding immunizations, call 235-5463.
The health department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, to observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
