It’s not too late to get the flu vaccine

The Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department (SNCHD) provides flu immunizations every Wednesday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. and the second Wednesday of each month until 6 p.m.

If you have not received your flu vaccine this season; we encourage you to do so. It’s not too late to get the flu vaccine. We have reduced the cost to $15 and will be administering the flu vaccine during regular immunization clinic.

For those with any questions regarding immunizations, call 235-5463. The cost is $6 per child, and we accept Medicaid and CHIPS.
The health department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17 to observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Family Planning services are available through several funding sources. Services include pap smears, breast exams, pregnancy testing, methods of birth control and screening and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. For an appointment call 235-2869.
