The Sweetwater Jaycees are gearing up for the 56th Annual World’s Largest Rattlesnake Round-Up.
Media day is held a few weeks before the Round-Up every year where Miss Snake Charmer contestants are introduced to the media and the Jaycees demonstrate how to milk the snakes of their venom to make anti-venom. The Sweetwater Jaycees Rattlesnake Round-Up is an educational event held on the second weekend of March.
Shown above are 2013 Miss Snake Charmer Kyndra Vaught and this year’s Miss Snake Charmer Pageant contestants Caroline Lawrence, Marisa Moncada, Megan Carney, Hannah Smith and Crysten Ivy.
Not pictured are Casey Whollery-Pratt, Abigail McPherson and Schyler Kimbrell.
