Dr. Gilbert Carreon, DDS, and his employees were at the J.P. Cowen Early Childhood Center to perform free dental screenings on Pre-Kindergarten students on Wednesday. The Sweetwater Kiwanis Club sponsored the event and members were also on hand to give the children new toothbrushes and toothpaste. The children watched a video on how to brush their teeth before their screening. Shown is Dr. Carreon giving a dental screening. Kiwanis President Bill Haley is also shown. Also at the event were Mary Lou Carreon, RDA; Trish Rains, Receptionist; and Melissa Lee, RDH. “We are very fortunate to have this event take place at our campus and we greatly appreciate the support of our community partners,” said J.P. Cowen principal Kirk Stroman.
