Sweetwater sub-varsity girls hoops preview

Sweetwater’s junior varsi-ty girls will be 21-0 when they go to Monahans today.
Sweetwater (7-0 in dis-trict) needs three more wins to have a perfect season after rolling to a 47-5 win at Greenwood Friday. Shaneese Brown and Abby McPherson had 10 points while Cierra Knox and Morgan Whitley had eight, Maddie Jones five, Jasmine Reddic four and Jaya Adkins and Nisha Williams one. Sweetwater led 29-1 at halftime and 40-3 after three periods of play.
The freshman girls lost 30-13 in their contest and are now 4-3 in district and 11-7 overall. No individual scoring totals were reported for the freshman game.
