A memorial service for Karla Epperson, 59, of Oak Creek Lake, Blackwell, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Brother Larry Fluitt officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Epperson died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo.
She was born on July 25, 1952 in Sweetwater. She married Rex Epperson on May 16, 1994 in Sweetwater. She had worked for Sweetwater Healthcare and Bronte Nursing Home as an LVN.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Epperson, of Oak Creek Lake, Blackwell; daughters, Stephanie Flaten and husband Doug of Edmond, Okla. and Brandy Tomblin and husband Steve of Huntington, W.V.; uncle, Bob Kreidel and wife Jackie of Sweetwater; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
