Funeral services for Kathryn Ann Dunlap, 63, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Larry Fluitt and Jerry Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Dunlap died Monday, May 30, 2011, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
She was born Nov. 23, 1947, in Clarksville, Tex. She married Ernest Dunlap on Nov. 23, 1974, in Carrizo Springs, Tex. She was a member of Fourth and Elm Church of Christ. She worked in health care and was a nurse's aide. She had lived in Sweetwater for 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Dunlap of Sweetwater; son, Ernest Dunlap, Jr. of Sweetwater; father, H.V. Hasten of Carrizo Springs, Tex.; and sister, Cindy Godsey and husband Bill of Carrizo Springs, Tex.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Hasten; and a sister, Ouida Renee Hasten.
Pallbearers will be Larry Staton, Jerry Huffman, Bill Godsey, Scotty Godsey, Tim Hasten and Jerry Hasten.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Wann, Dan McCoy and Salvador Hernandez.
