With growing popularity, Texas country artist Kimberly Dunn will return to the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium stage Saturday, May 17, this time with her own concert.
Since her last performance at the auditorium during the Sweetest Day benefit concert in October, Dunn has been busy touring around the state and in this area, and earning a top 50 spot on the Texas music chart with her current single “Sealed with a Kiss.”
The singer-songwriter-musician is making herself known for her talent, high-energy performances and likeable, spunky personality.
She also wants to give back with her talents. That’s why she recently launched her non-profit organization, The Dunn Good Foundation, where she will promote and raise awareness and funds for worthy causes.
One of the causes she finds worthy is the Boot Campaign, which she will help raise funds for with her participation in the 4th Annual Boot Walk Concert Celebration Thursday, May 8, in Harker Heights, featuring Granger Smith. This campaign raises funds to help American veterans make the transition from military life back to home life.
Sweetwater concert goers can expect to hear songs from Dunn’s upcoming album, “Forever on the Run,” which is set to be available for purchase in July. This will be her first full-length album. You can find more information and a link to pre-order her album on her website www.kimberlydunnmusic.com.
The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, May 17. General admission is $10 and reserved seating is available for $15 until seats are gone. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the show, 400 Locust Street.
