Lamar Street Baptist to host revival

Lamar Street Baptist Church will be holding a revival starting on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 through Wednesday, Sept. 14.
Evangelist Tom McCollister will speak at each service, and special guest Jerry Lewis will lead worship and provide special music.
The revival will begin on Sunday morning, Sept. 11 during the regular morning worship service, starting at 10:40 a.m. The evening services will be held each night, Sunday through Wednesday, at 7 p.m.
Also during the revival, there will be three lunchtime meals for both guests and members to hear Mr. McCollister speak. They will begin on Monday at noon and last until 1 p.m. and will be held in the church's recreation building.
Each noon meal will be provided by the church and will have a different menu. Monday's meal will spotlight Mexican food; Tuesday's meal will cater Italian food. Wednesday's lunch will be a potluck with a variety of casseroles.
