Lamoin Collier

Lamoin Collier, age 70, of Inadale, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. 
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011, at Loraine Cemetery with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. 
Lamoin was born on May 30, 1941 in Loraine, Texas to John E. (Bud) and Eula Arpe Collier. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a farmer and rancher, also worked at the Claytonville Gas Plant and was a Correctional Officer before retiring. He married Charlotte Pilgrim in 1971 in Snyder, Texas.  
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Collier of Inadale, Texas; two sons, Laramie and Angie Collier  of Sweetwater, Texas and Joel and Julie Collier  of Ballinger, Texas; and one daughter, Misty and Laren Shaw of Las Cruces, New Mexico;  seven grandchildren, Leonardo, Angellica, Cody, Cheyenne, Cayden and Caysen Collier and Shawna Shaw; one sister, Norma Jean Bryan of Ballinger, Texas; and one brother, Chester and Beverly Collier of Harriet, Texas. 
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bethel Collier; his parents, John E. (Bud) and Eula Collier; and one grandson, Connor Shaw.
