Lanell Davis Lee

On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 held in the arms of, and surrounded by family in her home, Lanell Davis Lee, was called back to our Heavenly Father. We know she was only loaned to us by God, but never prepared for the day we would have to give her back.
Upon arrival at the Pearly Gates, she was greeted with open arms by her mother, Minnie Lou Davis, father, Taylor Davis and brother, Billy Ray Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas R. Lee of Sweetwater; and one son, Gary Lee and wife Mary of Ft. Worth; and two daughters, Patricia Williams and husband Ronnie of Breckenridge, TX and Pam Porter and David Hornsberger of Sweetwater; two sisters, Gloria Burnett and Edna Linder of Sweetwater; and one brother, Charles Harrison Davis of Tomball, TX.
She is also survived by eight grandkids, Tyal Rual and wife Labritta of North Carolina, Shorie Henderson and husband Todd of Sweetwater, Loran Rule and wife Tiffany of Sweetwater, Taylor Porter of Merkel, Sheila Lucero and husband Brian of Albuquerque, NM, Jonathan Tinker of Breckenridge, Jerade Lee and wife Gina of Abilene and Justin Lee of Fort Worth; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A family visitation will be held at McCoy Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 20. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at McCoy Chapel of Memories at 10 a.m. Dec. 21, with Pastor Eric Von Atzigen officiating. A private family graveside services will be held in East Texas at Post Oaks Cemetery.
We would like to express our heart felt thanks to personal friend and care giver Mary Wheeler, Encompass Home Health and Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene. She loved each and every one of you as part of her family.
