The Women's Forum of Sweetwater sponsors Library Tag Day each year to benefit the County-City Library. This year the event took place on Wednesday, April 2, with all proceeds going to the library.
The total amount raised was 7,388.58. Donations come from local businesses, civic groups and individuals wanting to keep the local library growing and thriving.
Also this month the library board will be sponsoring the annual Book Sale, May 2-3, which is held in the Nolan County Coliseum Annex. The library is currently accepting donations of both adult and children hardback and paperback books, magazines and videos for the annual book sale.
Come to the garage door in the alley behind the library to unload the donations during business hours. Call 235-4978 a few minutes before arriving at the library to enable staff to be ready to help. The library hours are Monday from 1-6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
