Graveside services for Lillie Belle Green, 93, of Bonham, formerly of Roscoe, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater with Rev. Bruce Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at the Colorado City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, from noon to 5 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Green died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Bonham.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1919 in Munday. She married Loy Green on Dec. 23, 1939 in Colorado City, and was married for over 60 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and enjoyed reading and drawing. She was a member of Champion Baptist Church and was actively involved in church activities. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her four sons, Robert Wayne Green and wife Pat of Amarillo, Delmar Ray Green and wife Glenda of Honey Grove, Jerry Lynn Green of San Angelo and Gene Darrell Green of Austin; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Loy Green on Jan. 15, 2000; her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
