Local events scheduled for this weekend

The second and final performance of Black Comedy will be held tonight, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium.
The charity play event will be performed by students, graduates, and community members from the Sweetwater and Highland areas. Proceeds from the event will go towards the restoration of the Municipal Auditorium.

Several clothing events are lined up for Saturday, July 19.
The youth and children of Lighthouse Assembly of God, located at 412 Newman, will be having a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Call James at 325-733-4071 for more information.
Also, the FUMC Clothes Closet, located at 309 Cedar, will be open from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Clothes are free to all in need. Enter at the north door.
Free clothes will also be available at the First United Methodist Church in Roscoe, located at 301 Cypress, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
At 1 p.m. on Saturday, the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 will have an officer installation.
All members and families are invited. A meal will be served so bring your favorite covered dish.
And from 8 p.m. until midnight on Saturday, Midnight Blue Bank will perform from at the VFW.
