Lois Barber

Lois Barber, age 94, of Sweetwater, formerly of Sacramento, Calif., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Her wishes were to be cremated. Her family will hold a service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Lois was born Aug. 19, 1918, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to William M and Pearl (Spangler) Brady. She married Victor Barber on Aug. 28, 1935 in Kissimmee Park, Fla. She was a devoted homemaker and a Christian.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty McHaley Snider of Taos, N.M.; Lois Jean Wise of Seminole and Casey Cowin of Sweetwater; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Pearl Brady; husband, Victor Barber; and daughter, Carol Barber.
