Marie Dunlap Richardson

Marie Dunlap Richardson, 97, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Richardson was born on May 17, 1913, in Nolan, Texas. She was the eldest of seven children born to Robert Pleas and Mary Effie Dunlap.
She was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Divide High School, attended Abilene Christian College, taught school for one year and retired after 30 years in the credit department at Montgomery Wards. She was a longtime member of the Altamesa Church of Christ.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include one sister, Ruth Binkley of Fort Worth; one brother, C.C. Dunlap and wife Alice of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at Slater's Cemetery in Nolan, Texas on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Slater's Chapel Cemetery. Mike Ensminger will officiate, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
