Max D. Hutchins

Max D. Hutchins 74, loving husband, father, greatly adored “Papa” and servant of Jesus Christ, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Kelview Heights Baptist Church, 402 W. Scharbauer in Midland. A private family graveside will be held at the Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Max was born August 2, 1939, in Breckenridge to J.B. And Leona Hutchins. He married Joann Land on April 22, 1957, in Midland.
Max is survived by his wife, Joann Hutchins of Loraine; mother, Leona Hutchins of Midland; three daughters, Debbie Abbott of Mooresville, NC, Diana Daw of Mansfield and Valerie Vadder of Lubbock; two sisters, Linda Roundtree of Midland and Pam Early of Abilene; brother, Gary Hutchins of Midland; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Hutchins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Integra Care Hospice of Snyder, the doctors and nurses of Texas Oncology and the Colorado City First Baptist Church.
