Two Taylor Electric Cooperative employees are being called heroes after they pulled two women from a burning vehicle Monday afternoon. It happened on County Road 196 near the town of Nolan around 1 p.m. According to Sweetwater's Fire Chief, Grant Madden, two women were trapped in their car after an accident when it caught fire. The fire was said to be caused by the women trying to get out of the loose dirt and tires spinning on the dirt. That's when two Taylor Electric Cooperative employees, Rocky Bryan and Greg Henderson, saw the smoke and rushed into the vehicle twice pulling the women to safety. The two women are recovering from minor injuries at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
