June 27, 2014

Services for Michael A. “Micky” Berry, 50, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Carter Edmondson officiating. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Berry died on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 7, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Micky was well-known and loved by so many people who knew him. He was a lifelong companion, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend to many, many different people.
Our dad was a very honest, reliable, hard-working, caring and loving family man. He worked hard for everything he had, while providing us with anything and everything our family could have ever needed. He enjoyed working outdoors and creating new gadgets that he was proud to say he built by hand. He taught his children discipline, the meaning of hard work and most of all to be respectful. We wouldn’t know what we know without his guidance. Nor would we know how to perform donuts as well as we do. We love you Dad.
Survivors include his son, Bryan Berry and wife Christina of San Angelo; daughter, Tonya Scott and husband Justin of Sweetwater; wife and companion, Billie Berry of Abilene; brothers, Ricky of Utah, Chris of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jason of Austin; grandchildren, Blake, Hallie, Chloe and Sadie Scott, all of Sweetwater; and cousins Sammy Flint and wife Rita of Sweetwater, and Jimmy Flint and wife Carol of Sweetwater.
