Mrs. Bonnie Jahron Palmer

Bonnie Jahron Palmer, 83, of Sweetwater passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Abilene on Oct. 8, 1927. She married Kenneth Palmer on April 5, 1947 in Abilene.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Palmer, on Nov. 8, 1989 and her sister Jennie Marie Henderson in May 2010.
She is survived by three daughters; Sondra Staggs of Lubbock, Deborah Wallis and husband Sam of Rockwall, Texas, Kim Hager and husband Donald of Snyder; one brother, James Hilburn of Dallas; five grandchildren, Jason Staggs and wife Nadia of Lubbock, Shelly Gravett and husband Kevin of Katy, Texas, Wes Hamilton and wife Lesley of Ft. Worth, D’Ann Chavez and husband Jason of Ft. Worth, Laura Willis and husband Steve of Albuquerque, NM; seven great grandchildren, Ashley Gravett, Reagan Gravett and Emily Gravett all of Katy,Tx, Sydney Staggs and Kenley Staggs both of Lubbock and Jake Hamilton and Elle Hamilton both of Ft. Worth.
Bonnie was a member of the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She lived in Sweetwater since 1957 and was a homemaker.
Services will be at McCoy Chapel of Memories on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 at 2 p.m.. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories with Wes Hamilton officiating. Family will receive friends and family at McCoy Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Jason Staggs, Kevin Gravett, Jason Chavez, Steve Willis, Donald Hager and Sam Wallis.
Memorials can be made to the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 200 E. Arizona, Sweetwater, TX 79556.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
