Burnt grass is seen all around a wooden post and rain gauge at a local home during the recent Lake Sweetwater fire. The rain gauge was melted. Although Nolan County did see little rain on Saturday, July 16, it was barely measurable. Oak Creek received 0.05 inches of rain, making the total for the year 2.77 inches. Lake Trammell received no rain and it has received 1.00 inch of rain for the year. Lake Sweetwater also received no rain and has received 1.71 inches of rain for the year. The Filter Plant, Wastewater Plant and Booster B received no rain. Well Field P.S. received 0.40 inches of rain and CR 151 received no rain.
