Homer Taylor (left), President/Executive director for the Nolan County Foundation, recently presented Richard Smola, President of the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium Board of Directors, $2,000 as part of a challenge grant to assist the auditorium board in purchasing a new grand piano.
The piano was purchased earlier this year and was part of the show for the Kristine Mirelle concert, as well as the Miss Snake Charmer pageant.
“The piano will be a great asset for upcoming presentations,” stated Smola.
Taylor said the Nolan County Foundation encourages Nolan County non-profits to request funds for their needed projects. Visit the foundation office at 201 Elm, or call Taylor at 236-6680.
