Netters fall to Snyder

Sweetwater lost to Snyder 14-5 in a District 4-3A team tennis match here Tuesday.
Sweetwater’s next action will be Oct. 15 against Wall at San Angelo, which will be its final scheduled match of the fall season.
Boys doubles — Key-gan Valdez and Zac Bax lost 3-8; Chris Shoemaker and Tyler Stacy won 9-8 (10-4); Marc Butler and Christian Ulbrich lost 4-8.
Girls doubles — Gewel Cherry and Teresa Perez-Poe lost 5-8; Naomi Gonzales and Rebecca Gonzales lost 0-8; Crystal Foust and Vir-ginia Carly lost 4-8.
Mixed doubles — Bryan Vause and Jenny Medellin won 8-2.
Boys singles — Bryan Vause lost 3-6, 1-6; Zac Bax lost 6-7, 0-6; Chris Shoe-maker lost 0-6, 1-6; Keygan Valdez won 6-4, 2-6 (10-3); Marc Butler lost 4-6, 0-6; Tyler Stacy lost 6-2, 1-6 (9-11).
Girls singles — Jenny Medellin won 6-0, 6-2; Ter-esa Perez-Poe lost 0-6, 1-6; Gewel Cherry won 7-6, 7-6; Naomi Gonzales lost 3-6, 5-7; Crystal Foust lost 3-6, 2-6; Rebecca Gonzales won 6-1, 6-1.
