New pastor welcomed at Lamar Street Baptist Church

Lamar Street Baptist Church is pleased to announce their new pastor, Clay Jacobson.
Clay earned his Bachelor's of Art in History from Texas A&M University and his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He will begin fulfilling his pastoral duties starting this Sunday, Sept. 1.
Clay is joined by his wife Melissa, their daughter Ella, and a cat named Chewy.
Although Clay is an Aggie, his wife is a fan of Texas Tech, and they both are fans of the Dallas Cowboys. The Jacobson family is moving to Sweetwater from Roscoe.
"We are excited about being in Sweetwater and are looking forward to plugging into and getting to know our new community," said Jacobson. "I am so thankful for this opportunity to serve Jesus and His people at Lamar Street Baptist Church."
The church is located at 513 Lamar in Sweetwater. Service times are Sundays at 9:30 a.m. (Sunday school), 10:40 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
