Dr. Ron Morris has joined Sweetwater Independent School District as the high school principal. He and his wife Tammy, along with their daughter Mary, are in the process of moving to Sweetwater from the Dallas area. Dr. Morris has worked in many positions in different school systems, from teaching kindergarten and sixth grade, starting after school programs and working as assistant principal and then principal. "May main goal is to increase academic achievement," said Dr. Morris. "I also want to work with the school counselors and get kids more scholarships to college, because it's about what happens to them after high school that really matters."
