I want all students to learn respect for themselves, others and their school."She also knows the importance of the continual evolution of technology as well as teamwork. "Education is constantly changing and I believe in learning more about technology and going to workshops to further my skills as an educator so that I can be the best at my job for my students. I believe in working as a team with my colleagues. We can all learn new things from each other."Nixon reminisces on her childhood, recalling the "wonderful role models" and "truly exceptional teachers" who taught her and inspired her. Yet, she looks ahead, hoping to be that person to her students some day."I strive to make a difference. I can only hope that the love I have for educating children is remembered by my students for many years to come!"
