Oncor, in partnership with the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce, is inviting its Sweetwater neighbors to visit Ask Oncor. We Deliver. This open house-style exhibit features several interactive booths tailored to educating residents on smart meters, energy and money saving tips and more. Added bonus? Attendees will receive money-saving giveaways for their homes and have a chance to win prizes including a $200 American Express gift card!
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at the Nolan County Coliseum Annex, located at 1699 Cypress Street.
Oncor experts will be on hand to answer questions and guide visitors through interactive display stations including:
The Smart TexasSM station, which uses an in-home meter to demonstrate the amount of power household appliances draw; The Keeping the Lights on station, which demonstrates how Oncor maintains and restores power while working with the community to keep the power lines clear of danger; and The Take a Load Off, Texas® station, which informs residents how small changes in their homes can help save energy and money.
Oncor developed the Ask Oncor. We Deliver. program as a way to connect with communities in its service territories across Texas. This event provides the opportunity for residents to ask questions and receive answers from Oncor representatives. Ask Oncor. is traveling throughout the state and will visit an estimated 75 cities in 2011.
