Oncor delivers more than electricity
Oncor, in partnership with the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce, is inviting its Sweetwater neighbors to visit Ask Oncor. We Deliver. This open house-style exhibit features several interactive booths tailored to educating residents on smart meters, energy and money saving tips and more. Added bonus? Attendees will receive money-saving giveaways for their homes and have a chance to win prizes including a $200 American Express gift card!The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at the Nolan County Coliseum Annex, located at 1699 Cypress Street.Oncor experts will be on hand to answer questions and guide visitors through interactive display stations including:The Smart TexasSM station, which uses an in-home meter to demonstrate the amount of power household appliances draw; The Keeping the Lights on station, which demonstrates how Oncor maintains and restores power while working with the community to keep the power lines clear of danger; and The Take a Load Off, Texas® station, which informs residents how small changes in their homes can help save energy and money.Oncor developed the Ask Oncor. We Deliver. program as a way to connect with communities in its service territories across Texas. This event provides the opportunity for residents to ask questions and receive answers from Oncor representatives.
