One person entered a plea to Judge Glen Harrison during 32nd Judicial District Court proceedings on Monday, July 23, 2012.
Henry William Shelton, along with his attorney Paul Hanneman, pled true to revoking his probation. He was originally put on probation on July 21, 2009, for possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, a state jail felony.
For his plea, Shelton received 18 months confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He will also have to pay a $1,000 fine, $370 in court costs, $1,000 in attorney's fees and $140 in restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Laboratory in Abilene. He will receive 425 days credit towards his sentence for time already served in jail.
