One transported to hospital in train, 18-wheeler collision

One person was sent to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital after a train and an 18-wheeler collided along CR 109 just east of Sweetwater on Wednesday.
According to the Sweetwater Fire Department, the area of track where the accident occurred is a curve and has limited visibility. The 18-wheeler was reported to have just left the City of Sweetwater water treatment plant.
The driver of the truck was considered stable when taken to the hospital.
