The 2012 Nolan County Health Fair will be on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the TSTC (Texas State Technical College) Fitness Center on the Sweetwater campus.
Over 40 vendors from the area â€” including Sweetwater, Nolan County, Abilene and Snyder â€”Â will be available at the fair.
Free screenings will be offered at the Health Fair for temperature, pulse, pulse oxygen, blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, PSA, ECG's and rapid HIV testing. Those offering the screenings include Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital (RPMH) as well as the Big Country Medical Reserve Corps (MRC).
Also, the Meek Blood Mobile will be on site for blood donations. Various social services will be in attendance, such as TxDOT (Texas Department of Transportation) and the Department of Aging. The Sweetwater Fire Department will also be at the Health Fair.
