Pauline (Polly) Warton

Pauline (Polly) Warton, 91, of Austin, Texas formerly of Sweetwater, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was born Feb. 2, 1921, to Presley Paul Cooper and Virginia (Simmons) Cooper in Roby, Texas. Polly had been a resident of Austin, Texas since 2004. She started and funded a Church in Onida, South Dakota and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Texas, a member of the Eastern Star and Elks Lodge and was heavily involved with the Pastoral Care & Counseling Center in Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben William Warton, Sr. in 1997.
Survivors include her sons, Ben William Warton II of Marble Falls, Texas and Freddy Paul Warton and wife Julie of Austin, Texas; brother, Clyde Bradford of Houston, Texas; sisters, Judy Wooten of Paris, Texas and Jean McClure of Roby, Texas; five grandchildren, Tamara, Ben III, Tracy, Joshua and Kaitlyn; three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Ellen and Kathryn.
Graveside services in Sweetwater, Texas will be announced at a later date.
