Pauline Smith Heine, age 105, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, at Sweetwater Healthcare in Sweetwater, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, at the Church of Christ in Roscoe, Texas, with Royce Clay, Jr. and Dan Boren officiating. Interment will follow at the Roscoe Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater is in charge of arrangements.
Pauline was born on September 6, 1907 in Ballinger, Texas to William and Arlie Smith. She married Max Herman Heine on August 21, 1926 in Sweetwater. Pauline moved to Roscoe in 1919 and was a member of the Church of Christ in Roscoe. She operated a private nursery and kindergarten in Roscoe for many years.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Gayle Romeros and husband Michael of North Richland Hills, Texas, her grandson, Gary Lipscomb of Arlington, Texas, a great grandson, Sean Lipscomb and wife Lindsey of Mansfield, Texas, great great grandchildren Grace and Pieper Lipscomb of Mansfield, Texas and her son-in-law, Wyatt Lipscomb of North Richland Hills, Texas. She has two step great grandchildren, Laurel and Connor Romeros of Galveston, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Herman Heine March 18, 1992, a daughter Wanda Jean Lipscomb, her parents William and Arlie Smith, sisters Alma Kreidel and Helen Monroe, and her brother Wilson Smith. Pallbearers will be Roy Lee McMillan, Eugene Fullwood, Mark Jones and Randall Smith.
