Peggy P. Pemberton, age 75, of Sweetwater, Texas (Formerly of Coleman, Texas) passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating.
Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Peggy was born March 19, 1937 in Quemado, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was a former resident of Coleman, Texas. She loved to travel.
She is survived by son, Steve Posey and wife Debra of Sweetwater, Texas; two daughters, Julie A. Smith and husband Britt of Sweetwater, TX and Toni Parton of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren, Stephanie McCorkle and husband Ryan, Rick Posey, David Deaver, Dusty Deaver, Shannon and husband Shannon Mannin and Jamey Pacheco; four great-grandchildren, Levi, Mikah, Dakota and Kaison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rick Posey, Dusty Deaver, Steve Posey, Veldon Parton, Ryan McCorkle and Britt Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Deaver, Jamey Pacheco and Shannon Mannin.
