Funeral services for Perry Kent Wilson, 52, of Sweetwater will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Keith Clower officiating. Interment will follow at Roby Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Wilson went to be with Jesus on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater. He was born April 16, 1960, in Austin. He was a loving daddy and son. Perry graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1978. He was an electrical engineer at Ludlum Measurements for 32 years. He received his college degree from Cisco College.
Survivors include his son, Tory Wilson of Sweetwater; daughter, Kari Wilson and fiancé Oliver of Abilene; mother of two children, Tony Wilson of Abilene; parents, Rodney and Claudine Reep of Sweetwater; father, Gale Boswell and wife Suzanne of Raleigh, N.C.; brothers, Paul Wilson and wife Kathryn of Maryneal, Wade Wilson of Graham and Lee Burton and wife Lisa of Las Cruces, N.M.; step daughter, Shea Taylor of San Antonio; granddaughter, Trinity Profitt of San Antonio; uncles, Montie Neighbors and wife Richie of Abilene and Jerry Neighbors and wife Hettie of Del Rio; nieces and nephews, Missy Booker, Sean Wilson, Logen Burton, Laurn Burton, Joslyn and Savannah Wilson; aunt, Betty Doan of Sweetwater; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and daughter, Sarah Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Joey Forbes, Michael Forbes, Freddy Starr, Patrick Brand, Christopher Brand, Jeremy Witt and Richard Smola.
Honorary pallbearers will be his family from Ludlum Measurements.
