Police on the lookout for Roscoe robber

According to the Nolan County Sheriff's Office, a woman was shopping at a Roscoe convenience store this weekend when a man barged in and robbed her of $200.

It happened at the Chillerz #5 convenience store, on 12th Street in Roscoe on Friday evening, Oct. 19, 2012. According to the Nolan County Sheriff's Office, a woman was shopping at the convenience store when a man barged in and robbed her of $200.
In an attempt to recover the money, the victim was dragged from the parking lot onto the north frontage road of Interstate 20, prior to falling from the vehicle. She suffered minor injuries.
The robber is described as a black man of regular build in his 30s, about 5'10, with short curly hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing grey shorts and a white t-shirt. Authorities say the suspect fled the scene in a 2011 or 2012 pearly white Ford Edge, possibly with a handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror.
Police say the suspect could be armed. They are asking anyone who may know about this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at (325) 235-TIPS [8477]. They are offering a $1,000 reward.
