The fire department responded to a grass fire this week just west of the Nolan County complex fire that happened a few months ago. The fire was small and contained quickly thanks to the quick response of the Sweetwater Fire Department. Sweetwater Fire Department’s new brush truck, Brush 6 responded along with Brush 5. The fire was started when high winds caused the power lines to get together. Shown is Sweetwater firefighter Pat O’Neal extinguishing the blaze.
