Prizes to be given at Guns and Hoses event

The Sweetwater Police Department and Sweetwater Fire Department will host the third annual Guns and Hoses basketball game benefitting the West Texas Children's Advocacy Center. The game will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Sweetwater High School Gym. Admission will be a $5 donation per person, but other donations will be taken. There will also be a concession stand and several gift cards given away during the event. The public is encouraged to attend. Among the gift cards to be given are a $25 Chili's card, a $25 Academy card and a total of $400 in Wal-Mart gift cards, donated by Wal-Mart, the Sweetwater Police Department and the Sweetwater Fire Department. Extra tickets may be purchased at the game for the gift card drawings. All proceeds will benefit the West Texas Children's Advocacy Center.
