A memorial service for Reba Willene Browning, 69, will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Jacobson and Rev. Eric Horton officiating, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater. She was cremated.
She died on April 3, 2014 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on Nov. 20, 1944 in Sweetwater. She married Jerry Browning on July 3, 1965 in Sweetwater.
Willene was born to parents Melvin and Milford Doris Wilkinson on Nov. 20, 1944 in Sweetwater. She was a member of the Church of God. She loved her grandchildren and she loved being involved with Girl Scouts of America. She was a room mother for the kindergarten class. Willene loved walking in the sand on the beach and collecting sea shells. She also loved reading.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Browning of Sweetwater; daughters, Christine Hollis and husband Kris of Sweetwater and Angela Hamilton and husband Richard of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Billy, Amanda, Casey, Tommy and Zack; six great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law Gene Browning and wife Margaret of Sweetwater, Jimmy Browning and wife Brenda of Sweetwater and Ronnie Browning and wife Cheryl of Granite Shoals, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Flint and husband Jimmy of Sweetwater; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
