Highland Heights United Methodist Church recently welcomed the Reeves Family, who were commissioned as missionaries in 2001 serving with The Mission Society in Trujillo, Peru. Rev. Martin is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary and also an ordained pastor in the New Mexico Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church where he served as a senior pastor for seven years. The Reeves' vision is to make disciples of Jesus Christ; inviting children, youth and adults into a personal relationship with Christ, discipling them in their faith, and empowering them to be disciple makers. They are focused on growing the Body of Christ through children' ministries, discipleship groups and church planting. They also enjoy hosting short-term mission teams. Rev. Martin and Tracy Reeves have been blessed by God with seven beautiful children. Due to illness, Tracy and six of their children were unable to attend worship services.
