Region 14 to host BlockFest this weekend

April 30, 2014

The Region 14 ESC: Migrant/Bilingual/ESL will be hosting a BlockFest on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Nolan Room of Region 14, located at 1850 State Highway 351, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The free event is for families with children from 8 months to 8 years of age.
The hands-on, block-building extravaganza will teach math and science through block play. The event will increase parent knowledge of early development in the areas of math and science education, while also providing opportunities to increase social skills and literacy opportunities for young children.
Parents and children are asked to either wear socks or bring socks to the event. Families should RSVP with Laura Sandoval at (325) 675-8643 or lsandoval@esc14.net.
