A "peeping tom" accused of spying on women in restrooms of two south side restaurants has been arrested.
Jeremy Jacques was marched into the law enforcement center in Abilene around noon Monday. The 40-year-old Sweetwater resident is charged with disorderly conduct.
Authorities say he allegedly spied on women in restrooms at Abuelo's and Hobby Lobby. It's believed there were also incidents at other south side restaurants.
According to police, the incidents are very similar in nature and the suspect descriptions in both incidents were the same.
Authorities say in each incident, a woman was spied on while in the bathroom stall. The suspect was seen leaning over the top of the stall wall in order to watch the female victim. The lighting in the bathroom had been dimmed so the suspect would not cast a shadow.
There has been no physical contact between the suspect and any of these women, according to police.
