Roanna Stinnett

Roanna Stinnett, 72 of Sweetwater passed away Monday evening at an Abilene nursing center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Aspermont officiated by Pastor Jacqueax Molyneaux with burial to follow in the Aspermont Cemetery under the care and direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Roanna was born in Orianna, Texas to Roland and Ila Myers Parker. She married Charles E. Stinnett on June 1, 1957, in Aspermont, Texas. Roanna was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Stinnett of Sweetwater; son, C.E. Stinnett, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Sweetwater; daughter, Reneé Ross and husband Ted of Sweetwater; son, Wesley Todd Stinnett of Sweetwater; mother, Ila Parker of Jayton; sister, Betty Gaye Wright of Jayton; six grandchildren, Amanda Stinnett, Jason Stinnett, Joshua Ross, Charlee Ross, Logan Stinnett and Megan Stinnett; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Keller and Haylee Stinnett.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Parker; and one brother, Jeffery Lynn Parker.
The family request that memorials be sent to Hospice of the Big Country or the National Alzheimers Foundation.
Visitation will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Aspermont from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011.
