Kamer died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 21, 1947, in Sweetwater. He married Brenda Kay Willmann on June 8, 1968 in Roscoe. Bobby was a life long resident of Sweetwater. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Bobby worked as a pilot car driver and at Doris’s Sweet Shop for several years. Over the years Bobby touched many lives with a variety of occupations and anyone who knew him would say his true occupation was fishing. Bobby also enjoyed dancing, playing the slots and vacationing at South Padre Island. However, his true love was his wife and family. As long as he was surrounded by his family, his life was complete.
